I don't neccessarily have bad habits but I don't really have many good ones. Good ones like updating my blog. That might be a good one to start. That and taking care of the dishes immediately after dinner. That would be a good one too.
So, in other exciting news, I got contacts. It only takes about 30 minutes to get them in and 15 minutes to take them out. So when I subtract the amount of time I used to spend searching for my glasses before (5 minutes), I'm only 40 minutes in the hole. I haven't done them early in the morning half-asleep yet though. Tomorrow I work at 6:15 so we'll see how it goes. I'm not getting up early to put them in. That's for sure. Especially when my glasses can shield me from wandering pee-storms at work. I was peed on 2.5 times today. While wearing jeans with two day old spit-up sweet potatoes. Awesome, huh? Oh the joys of childcare.

Rugalicious
I've been looking for a rug for our living area. It needs something to tie it all together and I'm tired on walking on dirty floors. Obviously the cheaper thing would be to sweep the floor more, but that wouldn't give us a cute decorated room. I thought about a natural sisal or jute rug but everything looked the same and I'm worried it might be scratchy underfoot. Then I found this:
I love it. It would tie in our goldy/orange curtains and a colorful African pastel with our neutral couch and the blue/beige fabric I bought to cover a chair. It's fun and makes the livingroom both contemporary and casual. Of course Rick hates it. Luckily, he says he doesn't really care what I do with the house. What do you think?

In the beginning
I've decided that I'm no longer satisfied with a random post or two on my husband's blog. It's time I take charge and grab one for my own. Besides, everyone is doing it.
